We are targeting major utility companies, power companies, civil engineering constructing companies and those responsible for purchasing power cables and power cable jointing services. In some cases, this can include smaller nations and their purchasing teams.
While the company is Australian based, the market is absolutely global.

Color scheme: This is typically a very male gender specific industry, so while we are targeting professionals, it is masculine oriented. This means no colors that would be considered feminine or metro will work. You have a catch-22, as we want stylish on the logo design, yet bold and steady for the tag lines. Color choice is open if you consider above.
Text should be clean, easy to read, no script.
Logo: I have worked through a few logo designs before, but on this one, I really do not have an idea, so I will leave it up to you to interpret the idea. The logo should convey in it's design, Campbell White Power Solutions is the source for power cables and services. I'm certain there would be very few revisions, based upon my experience to date.
No cartoons, pictures of people, ideas where people have to think what does that mean...
Our small-to-mid-sized company image is boring, old-fashioned, lacks passion, creativity, and that stylish "POP" that makes someone think, "hmmm these guys might be in a boring industry (power cables and services), but their image is stylish, yet, it retains a corporate professional flair". You know, like the difference between Dutch Futbol and Spanish Futbol (smile), both get the job done, but one says, "wow, that is impressive", and the other says, "boring".
The current website is basically a holding page campbellwhite.com, but you can see the existing logo there. Attached is the basic layout for the new website, which will be up third week of July. It is a very simple site, but please note, if your logo is powerful enough, we can redesign the color scheme and theme of the site to follow you.
The company really has one product and one service it provides. 1. It sells power cables from 1,000 volts to 550,000 volts, these are the cables that provide the power for every major city in the world, so it has a sexy side from a power solutions view point, but lets face it, it is just big thick cable that the company sells. 2. It sells a service which is called cable-jointing, where professional technicians join together these power cables in a very clean and detailed process. It is highly skilled with less than 100 world-class technicians that can do this around the world.
In this business, you cannot have a failure, you lose power because of a bad cable or cable joint and you can lose a million dollars a minute.
