The faux-3D you've got going on here is probably overkill - I think this would work better simply in 2D.

Well, yes, which is what I meant with my previous comment. If you like the general concept, I can put it out in different formats and media-types, especially in particular with this logo since it's more versatile than the others I've made.

One of my more favourite designs... It's a digitalized eyeball. I think it would be a good logo and branding for a company because: It's simple, yet appealing because of the contrast of colour and originality, it can be used on a variety of things(it looks good flattened to a single colour/shades, so it can be used as a stamp or watermark, and it looks good with just about any colour in the center, as well as any colour for the background because of the contrasting colours.
