If you launch a Non-Guaranteed contest you still have the right on the 100% moneyback guarantee. The difference is that designers are more likely to participate in a Guaranteed contest because within such a contest the designer has the certainty that the Contest Holder will choose a winning design and a designer will be awarded with the prizemoney.
Moreover, for a Non-Guaranteed contest the Contest Holder has the obligation to pick a winner within 30 calendar days. Within a Guaranteed contest the Contest Holden should have chosen a winning design within 14 calendar days.

Choosa is one of the biggest design contest marketplaces. The idea is really simple; on our website a company can start a contest for any sort of design he needs and our design community will start uploading designs. Crowsourcing designs as we call it. Get started as a Contest Holder or a designer.

Get yourself registered and start participating in contests. You can look for projects via the "browse projects" function located on the top menu. After having read the requirements in the creative brief and checking the comments made in the discussion board you know whether this is a contest you would like to participate in.

On every design, you’ll see two numbers separated by a commma (ie: 4,5). Number 4 reflects the Contest Holder’s rating, while number 5 is the average rating of the community.
Each user can only vote one time per design.
The designer cannot vote on his own design.
You can rate designs while the contest is Active.

The limits are 3MB and 960 pixels. You will be prompted to crop the image to be shown as a thumbnail in the Gallery of the contest. Once your proposal is uploaded, when you click on it, it will expand to its original size, simply crop the image to show the main idea.

Once you are awarded, you need to upload the original design files:
- Enter to your acount
- Go to “My Contests”
- Choose your winning contest and click on the red link “go to the transaction page”
- Upload the design/s, choose the payment method and fill in your information.
You have 10 calendar days to upload the files of the winning designs. The Contest Holder has 10 calendar days to confirm that he received your files. After that Choosa will initiate the payment within 30 calendar days according to the payment method you've chosen.

You can add a contest to your watch list by clicking on the “Add to watch list” link located at the bottom of its gallery. To stop following a contest, go to your base and just below your friend’s list you’ll see the list of contests you are following. At the end of each title, you’ll see “(del)”; click on it and the contest will be erased from your list.

The designs you submit are yours, and you can withdraw them from any contest and your portfolio at any time - unless it is a winning design contest and you received the prize money.

As long as you are participating, all designs are your property. When you are awarded and after receiving the price money all copyrights are automatically tranferred to the Contest Holder.

First, go to “My Contests” and select the contest you have been awarded for. Select “Go to transaction page” in the “Creative Brief” tab. There you will upload the original design files (PSD, AI, etc.) and fill in your Payment Method information. The designer has 10 calendar days to upload the files. Consequently the Contest Holder has 10 days to confirm this and finally Choosa has the obligation to make the payment within 30 calendar days.

If you live in Argentina and can send us a “C” invoice, we weill then need:
- Account Number
- Account Type
- Name of the bank
- Name if the account holder
- CUIL

Each designer can upload up to 10 proposals on a given contest. Once this limit is reached, the designer can choose to eliminate some of the designs (those with less rating, oldest, etc.) and upload new ones. Designs can be withdrawn completely within the first 2 hrs after uploading, otherwise there will appear a black space with the Withdrawn sign.

Most Contest Holders already know and they award the winner as soon as the contest ends. Others need more time to think about it. For a Guaranteed contest you have 14 calendar days after the ending date of the contest to pick a winner. If you haven't chosen a design our community will choose the winner
For a Unguaranteed contest a Contest Holder has 30 calendar days to pick a winner. If you haven't notified us after 30 calendar days that you haven't found the design you are looking for you will loose your 100% moneyback guarantee and the community will choose a winning design.

You can modify your Creative Brief within the first 24hrs after activation. We recomend that you notify the modifications by posting messages at the Debate section. If you need to modify/add information after the first 24hrs, please send us a message to support@choosa.net with the new text and and Support Team will do so for you.

If your contest is Guaranteed, you cannot get your money back. If you fail to choose a winning design in 14 calendar days we will disable your rights to award the winner and invite the community to vote. Your payment will be retained by Choosa and paid to the winner chosen by our community. You have no right to a refund of your payment.
If you have launched a Non-garanteed contest, you have a 30 calendar days to ask for a full refund in case you are not satizfied with the end results. If you fail to do so community vote will be applied.Back to Top

To rate and comment on the designs submitted to your contest, simply go to your contest’s Gallery. There you will be able to rate all designs. Roll over your mouse where it says “thumbs up” and you’ll see 5 stars. On a 1 to 5 scale you can show how much you like that proposal. To be more specific and clear about what you like and dislike of the design click on the image and leave a comment.

Go to your contest’s Gallery, click on the design you like and click on the “Award Design” option located just below the image. This option will appear only after your contest ended. The designer will receive a notification informing that his design was awarded and he will have to upload the original design files in the format you’ve requested. Once that is done, you will receive a notification as well asking you to download and confirm the files so Choosa can begin with the payment transaction.

The key to a succesfull contest is rating and providing the designers comments and feedback. By doing so you will ensure that you get a custom made design! Providing detailed feedback benefits you in two ways. First, the comments to the entries will give the designers information to create and modify their designs so that you get the perfect tailor made design. Sounds good right?
Second, it will attract more designers to your contest.It gives the designers some convidence that the Contest Holder will participate in the design process and is more likely to pay out the prizemoney. Contest holders that fail to provide feedback typically see lower interest in their contest.

If you request an extension to your contest due date with enough time (48hrs before it ends) our team will be able to do so, though there should be a fair reason to extend the contest. It is necessary that you notify all participants (by posting a comment on the Discussion Board) about the changes made; we want to create a fair and transparent platform.

No. The prize money of your contest will be given to only one winner. If you wish to buy other proposals you like, you can negotiate with the designer directly. Choosa will not take part in this arrangement.

No. The option to choose a winner will appear at the bottom of each design once the contest is finished. The reason for this is based on the fact that those participants still working on their proposals might take it as a lack of respect and you could loose the opportunity to see some other (and maybe better) proposals.

Once the winner receives the prize money, the copyrights of the design will be automatically transferred to the Contest Holder. In Choosa, all creative designs are original and therefore, copyrights and intellectual property belong to their creators.If many versions of the winning design were made during the process, these still belong to the designer even after receiving the prize money. If the Contest Holder wants to buy one or all other variations of the winning design, then he/she will have to arrange this individually with the designer and Choosa will not take part on this arrangement. We are very strict when it comes to copyright violations and it is clearly explained on the previous items (Copyrights 3.4)

You can choose out of two Payment Methods: PayPal and Bank Transfer:
- PayPal: This one is the best option to activate your contest quickly. You should use your credit card. It has the lowest interest rate so you can add more money to the prize money. If you don’t have an account yet, registering takes about 3 minutes.
- Bank Transfer: this option takes the longest to activate your contest as we have to wait for the bank’s confirmation first. Depending on your bank you can choose to transfer your money to any of our three accounts in Argenitna, United States and the Netherlands.

If you choose not to award a winner, you can request the refund by sending an email to support@choosa.net and we will refund your money minus transfer handling fees (%10 of the total). Please do so within 30 calendar days else your right to refund the money will expire. The payment method will be the same as the one choosen to activate your contest.
